Remember, Remember the 5th of November...

Eye Hammond: Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world.

---- V for Vendetta (2006)

I love that movie. I'm going to have to download it :)

I almost over slept today :/ my sleeping is getting bad again. Might need to revert back to sleeping pills. Stayed up too late last night watching X-Men: First Class with Alicia and watching for Casey and Ashley's dad to come pick them up. The twins actually had clothes on this morning when I woke up. Huge surprise for me. Once we dug out a disco ball, the boys were entertained long enough for Alicia to get some work done, but I've got the boys from 2 until 6 because of a photo shoot. The boys have been pretty good because they know neither of their parents are here to demand attention of. I really need to clean this place up. The toys are strewn everywhere.... evidence of a good time, ha ha.

Hopefully I'll get to go out and have some late night fun next weekend with Sarah and the French girls, Cecile and Angelique. Can't wait to go shopping for a nice dress and some shoes. The weather is almost too perfect right now to not wear a dress :) and Yes I'll post pics when possible. I asked mom to send a memory card reader. My camera is getting too full of pics.

Wow, these boys sure drink and eat A LOT. Gussy is almost always eating and Ewey is constantly drinking. If they were eating/drinking anything not healthy, I might say something, but Gussy is always eating yogurt, rice bickies or ham and Ewey is always drinking milk. They both constantly sucking down milk, ha ha. They love their new bottles that I got them and are constantly using them.

I think the boys are finally learning a lesson about actually needing to wear clothes. Gussy has racked himself twice and then Ewey did it once, lol. And I've nearly had my nose broken 3 times since I've been here.

Alicia just got back from her photo shoot. I tihnk everyone should use her studio. She has some awesome photos. Alex to come back later from the Gold Coast and is making a Japanese curry.

I so wanna go to the Gold Coast. :) Maybe I'll talk Sarah into going with me since it's just close enough for a full day trip.

**Word of warning. Thinking about switching to a different site for my blog. Having problems with this one.

Freddos and Kinnect!!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to actually read my blog that I caught up over night. Hope you continue to read and enjoy :) Now on to today:

Today's great quotes:
Gussy: I'm sad. (no more banana fruit bars)
                I want Animal Mechanicals!!
I want to watch Disney Junior.

Alicia: We're gonna get you a Queensland driver's license :)
     Me: Uh oh.

Ewey: Ahhhhhh (kicks Gussy in the face over some bickies)
Ahhhhhh (because Bubble Guppies was turned off)
Ahhhhhh (because he spilt his juice from the new bottles I got the boys)

I don't know about you, but I'm starting to see a pattern with these boys, ha ha. There's really no negotiating with Gussy. Just ignore him and he'll be fine in a bit. You can coddle Ewey, but he'll get louder before he gets quieter. And yes, I am hopefully getting a Queensland drivers license this next week and driving lesson as well. Time to start driving on the left side of the road from the right side of the car. Sadly, the new-ish car (new to the family) is also a manual, so shifting with the left hand, but the gas, clutch and brake are still in the same spot from the USA. My brain is already hurting. Time to start studying the Queensland driving handbook. Might be taking the boys to daycare eventually. Glad that a license in the states is so cheap. I think I only paid $20 or so. Here in Queensland it's about $50 for a license that's good for only 1 year.

Got a bust next two weeks filled with photoshoots and weddings. The boys will probably only be on 1 more week of Mondays at the day care, then they'll be cut back to Tuesday and Friday.

So glad to hear that my hometown football team is actually winning. Go Indians!!

Played the Xbox Kinnect for the first time today with the boys. Gussy has the funniest run when he's trying to interrupt a game. He run, naked with a Thomas the train hat on, with one arm over his chest and the other over his head. Kinda like a salsa/flamingo stance, ha ha. The kinnect now has a bunch of pics of little naked boys playing a water rapids game, lol.

So Alicia is trying to cook cupcakes with the boys and so far the boys have tried to drink the milk, put their hands in it, put in whole eggs and try to put their hands in the mix while Alicia was mixing the batter. The is too funny. Maybe I'll be able to snag one of her little videos of the twins "cooking". This is too cute. Gussy is mad because he messes everything up. Ewey is mad because he wants to do everything. The cupcakes still turned out good.

Went to the grocery store to get stuff for dinner and let the boys spend time together. So tired and need some sleep. All this before 2pm :/

Can't believe I passed out mid-typing. Took an accidental 2 hour nap and woke up around 5pm. The older boys seem to have decided that they need to go home tonight because the internet here is too slow for them and that they shouldn't have to sleep in the same room as "the babies". They love their little brothers and the twins love their older brothers, but they're such an odd group, ha ha.

Work tomorrow (Sunday). This week will likely be the last time the twins are in day care 3 days a week, in two weeks or so they'll be taken down to 2 days a week and I'll spend more time with them. Yay!! Busy next few week of photo shoots, but plenty of time off and my first weekend out on the town :) In 2 weeks I'll be working an entire week because it's full of photo shoots and a wedding on North Stradbroke Island that's taking 2 or 3 days because of a 'trash the dress' the next morning. I don't see why someone would spend so much money on a dress and then trash it. Ridiculous if you ask me. Host parents have to take the ferry back in the morning and I'll take the kids to day care.. if I can find it, ha ha.

Caught up!!

Now hopefully everyone is pretty well caught up and the posts will hopefully be better. Sorry if they didn't meet expectations and feel free to let me know of grammar and spelling mistakes :)
